
Student Supervision - Volunteer Requirement
Foothill Learning Academy is not a school and does not provide staff for student supervision outside the classroom. To ensure students are adequately supervised during the day, parents are required to volunteer for one 3-hour shift during each semester.
If you are unable to volunteer, a $40 per family fee is required to compensate another parent volunteer and cover admin.
NOTE: Parents who do not show up for scheduled shifts, or cancel after the reminder has been sent for non-emergency reasons, will be charged $50 and will loose priority registration for the following semester.
Parents are responsible for knowing and complying with their student’s charter school requirements regarding parent/guardian attendance during enrichment/supplemental classes.
