Cris Bollengier is a wife, mother, and educator who is deeply passionate about passing on her love of learning to children.  She has a Master’s Degree in Special Education from San Francisco State University.  Cris also holds a current Special Education Teaching Credential.  She started her career teaching Orientation & Mobility as well as Adaptive Daily living Skills to people of all ages with visual impairments.  She and her family had the unique opportunity to move to China for 4 years for her husband’s work.  While in China Cris discovered her love of teaching elementary school, where she would often substitute at a private American school.   Since returning from China Cris has been an elementary school substitute teacher in El Dorado Hills for the past 5 years.

Cris is very excited to be joining Folsom Learning Academy in the K-1 enrichment program.  She is eager to bring her enthusiasm, expertise, and heart for the little ones to the classroom.
